Becoming a member of Northern Lights 2024...

STEP 1: INTEREST FORM - Now thru December 2023

The first step in becoming a member of any drum and bugle corps is letting us know you're interested! By filling out the interest form, you get added to our 2024 interested members mailing list and we will reach out with audition materials and information when it becomes available.

STEP 2: APPLICATION - August thru November 2023

Once the 2024 schedule is confirmed we will be reaching out to our interest mailing list with our application. The application includes next step information such as collecting medical releases, and lets us know you're really serious about joining Northern Lights. Our application confirms you'll be attending one (or both) of our audition camps.

STEP 3: ATTEND AN AUDITION - November 18 and December 16 2023

We will have two chances to audition in person--Saturday November 18th 2023 and Saturday December 16th 2023. If you can't attend in person, you can work out a video audition with our director and relevant staff member for your section.

STEP 4: CONTRACT! - January 2024

Being awarded a drum corps contract is a milestone for any performer! The contract will come with our Member Handbook, as well as information on:

• What your responsibilities as a member are
• What our responsibilities to YOU as a member are
• How to get logged into our member's only communication app
• SafeSport training requirements (mandatory for adults, strongly encouraged for minors)

If you are awarded a contract, congratulations! You are officially a member of the Northern Lights Drum & Bugle Corps!
